Gold and Silver – From the Market Favorites of 2025

Gold and silver were among the absolute favorites of investors in 2025, delivering extraordinary returns and outperforming most traditional asset classes. Gold gained approximately 65%, while silver surged around 150%, making precious metals one of the biggest investment stories of the year.

The rally was driven by geopolitical uncertainty, central bank purchases, inflation concerns, and growing demand for safe-haven assets. Silver additionally benefited from industrial demand in solar energy, electronics, and emerging technologies.

However, 2026 has presented a more challenging environment. After reaching impressive highs, both metals experienced significant corrections as rising Treasury yields, a stronger US dollar, and profit-taking weighed on prices.

As November 2026 begins, investors face an important question: Are gold and silver preparing for another rally, or has the precious metals boom already peaked?

This is exactly why having clear, data-driven trading signals is essential. Successful investing is not just about identifying strong-performing assets, but also knowing when to enter the market, when to stay invested, and when to step aside. A disciplined approach helps investors capture opportunities while managing risk during changing market conditions.

For trading Gold, we use the GLD ETF, which currently shows a neutral signal on the monthly chart. According to our trading strategy, there is no clear entry signal at this stage, so no action is needed. Sometimes, the best trading decision is to stay on the sidelines and wait for a clear volume signal.

Silver is experiencing an even deeper consolidation than gold following its impressive rally in 2025. This highlights the importance of following clear trading signals rather than chasing past performance. For now, patience and disciplined risk management remain essential as we wait for a new bullish signal to emerge. ( SLV ETF)
