April 2026 | Monthly Income Market Scan Report
Dear Reader,
I hope you had a good April 2026 - Q1 2026 is over so here is a free report - lets have a look into our "Monthly Market Scan Report" of April 2026.
Let me summarize April 2026:
April 2026 saw a strong stabilization in the S&P 500, reaching new all-time highs after the risk-off move.
Energy prices remained elevated as supply concerns eased. Equity markets showed mixed performance: defensive sectors held up well, while quality large-cap stocks recovered.
The semiconductor sector stood out with strong outperformance.
Bond yields stayed relatively high, reflecting persistent inflation concerns and ongoing uncertainty around central bank policy, particularly the Federal Reserve.
Crypto markets continued to trade sideways with lower volatility.
Overall, April was a transition month, with markets shifting from panic-driven moves toward a more balanced and selective environment.

How to read the Scan:
We prefer ETFs over individual stock investments.
Red is institutional DownVolume and Green is institutional UpVolume.
We avoid taking positions when earnings releases fall within the trading period.
We do not prefer direct investments; instead, we focus on selling put options with strike prices below the monthly chart level indicating an institutional UpVolume signal.
We operate using cash-secured positions only.
Until next time,
--Gerold
